Himachal Pradesh has suffered extensive damage during the ongoing monsoon season, with total losses crossing Rs 1,600 crore.
The Public Works Department reported damages amounting to Rs 1,231.59 crore, while the Jal Shakti Vibhag and Power Department faced losses of Rs 368.68 crore and Rs 21.5 crore, respectively.
